How can i get a piece of my writing published in the new yorker?

i wrote a piece and want to send it in. i know the chances of it getting published is like 2 out of 1000 haha but i wanna try anyway so does anyone know how please? or any other prestige magazine/paper like it that i can send it to too? its just a short article but stilll lol thank u so much :D
