How do I make friends in College?

Alright, I'm entering in as a Junior from Community College to a new University, and I'm going to live on campus for a year. However, making friends is something that I always have a hard time doing. I have one friend who is not severly autistic but still is. I had a few others but I really didn't trust them well and it just didn't work out. What can I do to help my situation? I'm going to be trying to join clubs there but it's still not easy.
