How do I install a third party WMP Skin?

I downloaded a skin that came in a zipped file. I extracted everything and placed it in my C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Skins directory. I went to View->Skin Chooser in WMP, selected my skin and hit apply. Nothing happened. When I apply default skin, WMP adopts the skin normaly. What am I doing wrong?
