Can't view music files on mp3 player on laptop?

I have an RCA h100 mp3 player and used a desktop computer to load music, mp3 and wma, and I now have a laptop.I cannot view the music files I loaded when I open it on the laptop. I can view files I loaded from the laptop to the player... Now what?
