The Crucible Casting?

I like everyone except for Depp. I think Depp is a perfectly good actor, I just don't think he has the "wholesomeness" to portray Proctor, or at least for the audience to come in thinking he's a good man. Granted, I'm sure he could play the role excellently, I'd just think he's a bit too... rough to play the part. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION!
