Accepted to auburn? Problem?

I just got an acceptance letter to auburn university. Great news however my recruiters say that I have to turn it down because of training. I'm a marine poolee. Iv submitted an application for an nrotc scholarship and am on standby until next week about the decision. My question is do you think I'd endanger my college career by trying to change my acceptance to one for spring semester or even next fall when I'll be through with my marine training. I'll be going reserve and I'm a current resident and native born texan if that matters. Thank you for any istance.
